I am a therapist registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. My core training was in Humanistic Counselling (Gestalt, Person-Centred, and Transactional Analysis).

I completed pupillage and practiced as a barrister specialising in family law, and particularly child protection.
I also hold an academic post as Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Westminster which allows me space to engage in research, scholarship, and teaching looking at the psychology of lawyering, and issues affecting lawyers, including research on the experiences of LGBT barristers.
